Chance Sullivan, MD, FAWM, DiMM
Dr. Chance Sullivan completed his emergency medicine residency and wilderness medicine fellowship at the University of Vermont, where he also worked as a search and rescue physician in the Green Mountains and taught AWLS courses for medical students and residents. Prior to medical school, he worked as a backcountry guide in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. He has spent two summers as an expedition physician in Alaska for the Juneau Icefields Research Program and also spent a season working at the high altitude medical clinic in Argentina on Aconcagua, the highest peak outside the Himalayas. He now lives in Golden, Colorado, and when not on shift in the ER you’ll find him fly fishing in alpine streams, mountain biking or trail running with his black Lab, or backcountry skiing and mountaineering throughout the world with his wife.
