MOROCCO ATLAS MOUNTAINS
*Mt. Toubkal*
May 15th - May 26th, 2027

MOUNTAIN MEDICINE CME
Join our 12 day Mountain Medicine CME course and Trek to the summit of Mt. Toubkal - the highest peak in N. Africa.
Step into a land where ancient culture meets rugged adventure. Your journey begins in Marrakech, a vibrant tapestry of color, sound, and spice. Explore the labyrinthine souks of the old medina, sip mint tea in rooftop cafés, and immerse yourself in the rhythm of this legendary city. But this is just the beginning. . .
From the pulse of Marrakech, you'll ascend into the majestic High Atlas Mountains, where snow-dusted peaks and Berber villages await. Your mission? To undertake a Mountain Medicine course like no other — designed specifically for medical professionals. Here, under the shadow of Mt. Toubkal, North Africa’s highest summit at 4,167 meters (13,671 ft), you'll train in high-altitude physiology, wilderness rescue, and field trauma care. Each step toward the summit challenges both your clinical skills and your spirit of adventure.
Trek on alpine trails and inhale crisp mountain air in your lungs, the climb to Toubkal is not just a physical ascent — it’s a transformative experience that deepens your understanding of medicine in extreme environments.
Descending from the heights, your path winds south toward the Sahara Desert, where endless golden dunes stretch to the horizon. Travel by 4x4 and camel caravan through remote desert landscapes. Camp under a sky blazing with stars, learning about dehydration, heat illness, and austere care in arid climates. By firelight, swap stories with fellow medics and guides who share your passion for adventure and healing.
This is more than a course — it’s an expedition. A journey into wild beauty, ancient cultures, and the very edge of your medical training.
Are you ready to push your limits — as a clinician and an adventurer — in Morocco’s most breathtaking landscapes?
